Dr. László-Tamás Benő
Criminal defence lawyer – speaks English, Romanian and Hungarian
Born in 1978 in Cluj-Napoca (Kolozsvár). He graduated in public administration in 1999 and received his law degree with distinction from the Faculty of Law of Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2001. He has practised law since 2002, first as a trainee and from 2006 independently, as a member of the Benő and later the Benő & Willi law firm.
He has worked as a defence lawyer since the start of his career and has represented clients in more than 4,000 criminal cases over the past twenty years. His practice covers the whole of criminal law; by number of cases, his main areas are drug offences, drink- and drug-driving, traffic offences, proceedings against juveniles and foreign nationals, economic crimes and property offences. His special field is occupational endangerment. He has handled more than 140 European Arrest Warrant surrender cases.
He speaks fluent English and Romanian, so foreign clients and their families can talk to their lawyer directly, without an interpreter. Experienced, reliable and decisive.

Dr. Ildikó Willi
Criminal defence lawyer – works in Hungarian
Born in 1978 in Budapest. She graduated in public administration in 1999 and received her law degree with distinction from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in 2003. She has practised law since 2003, first as a trainee and from 2007 independently, as a member of the Benő & Willi law firm.
She has built one of the largest criminal defence practices in Hungary and has successfully represented clients in more than 3,600 criminal cases, including high-profile cases of national interest such as the so-called Combino murder case. Her practice covers the whole of criminal law; by number of cases, her main areas are proceedings against juveniles, drug offences, drink- and drug-driving, economic crimes and offences against life and bodily integrity. Precise, thorough and determined.
Dr. Willi works in Hungarian; in cases of foreign clients the firm communicates through Dr. Benő in English or Romanian.
